Launched in November 2021, we are incredibly excited to see the Materials Community grow alongside the other Nature Portfolio and Springer Nature Research Communities. As the Community starts out, we are looking forward to welcoming new Behind the Paper posts exploring the latest articles, news and opinion pieces about recent findings, updates from editorial teams, and much more. We’d love you to join us as things kick off in the Materials Community!
Getting involved
You can join the Materials Community to receive updates on the latest research and discussions happening in the Community. If you’re new to the Community, click the ‘Register’ button on the top of the homepage to get started!
If you’re already a member of the Community, you can get involved right away by commenting on or liking posts. Or, if you have an idea for a post, you can contact the Communities team for support and advice on getting started. You can also visit the About the Community channel to explore answers to any questions you might have about the Community, including tips and advice on completing your profile and writing a post.
Exploring the Communities
You might see some posts from before November 2021 in the Materials Community, this is because these materials-relevant posts were previously shared in other Communities, and now we’re excited to give them a new home in their very own Community! We hope you will join us in exploring these posts, and many more to come, and celebrating the latest in materials research
As well as the Materials Community, there are a number of other Springer Nature and Nature Portfolio Communities to dive into, including the Engineering, Bioengineering and Chemistry Communities. You can explore all the Communities here and, if you have any questions, you can always contact the team.
